Me and my mom wanted to know what year Swarovski started to make their crystal Christmas ornaments. I want to get her the very first one for Christmas, she would love it.|||I'm assuming you mean their star/snowflake annual ornaments. 1991 was the first year. Swarovski started a collection series of Stars and Snowflakes. All odd years (1991, 93, 95, 97, 99, 2001, 2003) are Stars. All even years (1992, 94, 96, 98, 2000, 2002) are Snowflakes.
