Are Swarovski crystals dangerous for jewelry?

I heard the swarovski crystals contain 32% lead in jewelry. I know that since lead cannot be absorbed through the skin, what are other ways the lead in this type of jewelry be dangerous? As long as the jewelry is not for children, it should be safe and have no risks, right? What are the effects of wearing jewlery with swarovski crystals if there is any? How dangerous can they be?|||you said yourself that lead cannot be absorbed through the skin...so what's the problem with wearing them? Unless you're planning on accidentally eating your necklace, I'd say that you're safe. If you eat a crystal, you'll probably have more pressing health issues than lead poisoning anyway, like tears in your digestive tract, depending on how big of a crystal we're talking here.
