What's the difference between Swarovski crystal beads and "crystal" beads that sell by strands?

I see some stores that sell "crystal" beads that look just like the Swarovski ones, but in strands. Looks much cheaper (http://beadbuddies.net/Crystal_Round_8mm.html). What's the difference? How can you tell real Swarovski crystals from just plain crystal beads?|||Swarovski beads are more expensive, but they are usually a much better quality and have more sparkle.

















|||Swarovski is a brand and particular high grade type of crystal...you are paying for the name. The inexpensive crystals are just as nice most of the time.
