What carat of gold is used in most gold Swarovski jewelry?

What carat of gold does Swarovski typically use in their gold jewelry? I recently received a Swarovski necklace worth around $140 as a birthday gift from my very sweet and generous boyfriend. I am interested to know the quality of gold used in it since it is something I would like to wear every day and keep in good condition for as long as possible.

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!|||Swarovski Jewelry is not solid gold, but rather gold plated. It will in time wear off. Keep in mind Swarovski is what is known as "fashion jewelry" and is NOT designed to be worn every day!

That said, if you keep it safe at night in the box it came in, and be careful never to expose it to harsh chemicals, or get it wet, it will last for quite some time.

Wear it on special occasions, and enjoy!|||Most Swarovski settings are not gold, but may be gold-plated or rhodium plating. Plating is best not worn everyday as it will be worn away eventually. Hope this as helpful..
